What Is Flick Goal?
Flick Goal is a free soccer free-kick game made by Lion Studios and released in May 2025. The idea is simple — you draw a curved path for the ball with your mouse or finger, release, and it follows that arc into the goal. In the way. Defenders, walls, and all sorts of obstacles that you need to curve around, thread through, or go over the top of.

How It Works
Click and hold on the ball, drag to draw the shot path, then release. The ball follows the curve you drew. If it goes in, you move on. If it doesn’t, you try again.
Early levels let you get comfortable with the mechanic — straightforward shots with a clear gap to aim for. A few levels in, defenders start filling the obvious angles. Then walls appear. Then moving blockers. The game keeps adding something new every few levels so it never feels like you’re just repeating the same shot over and over.
Along the path you can pick up coins and hit bonus targets — these are worth aiming for because they fund the cosmetic unlocks that keep sessions feeling fresh.

Tips That Actually Help
- Draw the full arc before thinking about power. The ball goes where you draw it. Spend a second mapping the whole curve around the obstacle rather than adjusting mid-draw. Partial paths tend to miss by a lot.
- Aim for the coins on your shot path. Coins sit right on good trajectories on purpose. If a coin is floating near an obstacle, the line through it is usually the correct angle for the goal too.
- Try the outside of obstacles, not just the gap. When a direct route is blocked, going around the outside edge of a defender often opens an angle that threading through the middle does not.
- This one genuinely plays better on a phone. The draw mechanic was designed for touch. Mobile feels more precise and the screen size makes the arc easier to control than a mouse drag.
Customisation
Coins you collect during levels unlock new ball skins and player looks. None of this changes how the game plays — it’s purely cosmetic. But having a ball that looks different keeps things feeling fresh after a lot of levels, and some of the unlocks are genuinely fun to play with.
