Four-Round Boxing Matches
The supplied browser build uses four scored rounds, with the round timer initialized to 60 seconds.
If nobody is knocked out, the fight can therefore be decided by the scorecards.
The scoring code follows a 10-point-style system. A close round generally ends 10-9, while knockdowns can produce wider results such as 10-8 or 10-7.
That means a fighter who is behind on points still has a chance to change the fight with a knockdown, while a strong early lead can disappear quickly if you are dropped later.
A knockout ends the fight without waiting for all four rounds.
Jabs, Crosses, Uppercuts and Stuns
Every punch has a different role.
Jabs are the lighter attack. The current build gives a successful jab a small amount of direct HP damage, so older guides claiming that jabs do absolutely no damage do not match this version.
Crosses use a separate damage value that becomes stronger as your Power progression improves.
Uppercuts have separate left/right damage parameters and can become your most dangerous attacks, but they are also easier to punish if thrown at the wrong time.
The game additionally checks attributes related to Chin, stun chance and flash-knockout resistance. This is why two opponents can react very differently to the same combination.
There is no verified stamina bar in the supplied browser build. Combat instead revolves around health, blocking, punch timing, stun states and knockdowns.

For most fighters, early manager upgrades begin at $4,000 and become progressively more expensive.
