Moto Space Racing: 2 Player is a 3D split-screen space motorbike racing game developed by Brain Software and released in October 2020. It runs free in any modern browser via HTML5 and WebGL. The game has 10 tracks, a vehicle shop funded by race winnings, and one mechanic that sets it apart from standard racing games: you can physically kick opponents off the track. The browser version is desktop only — it is not mobile compatible.

Controls
| Action | Player 1 | Player 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Drive / Steer | D, E, F, S | Arrow Keys |
| Nitro | Shift | Spacebar |
| Kick opponent | R or W | M or N |
| Respawn | C | H |
Player 1’s movement uses D/E/F/S instead of WASD — E is accelerate, S is brake, D is left, F is right. It’s an asymmetric layout that frees the arrow keys entirely for Player 2, which prevents the key-conflict issues that plague most shared-keyboard racers. Kick range is short — pressing R or M while positioned alongside an opponent pushes them sideways; at track edges this sends them off completely.
The respawn key is critical: falling off a ledge or flipping badly doesn’t auto-reset — you must press C or H manually or you sit there losing time.
Tracks and Progression
There are 10 tracks total. Finishing first unlocks the next level — second place or lower does not advance progression. All tracks are set in a space environment with modified gravity that affects how long the bike stays airborne after jumps. The tracks feature sharp turns, elevated platforms, and gaps that require controlled landing. Fuel pickups scattered on each track replenish nitro — nitro is not on a timed cooldown but on a resource gauge that empties with use and must be refilled by collecting fuel on the course.
Bikes and Shop
Winning races earns money. Between sessions, money is spent in the vehicle shop to buy new bikes and riders. Vehicles higher in the shop list are faster — the game describes them as unlocking “new, faster bicycles.” No specific bike names are published by the developer, but the cost and speed tier structure is visible in the shop menu before purchase. A faster bike does not change the kick mechanic or nitro duration — only top speed and handling improve. Completing the full rider collection requires winning consistently across multiple tracks, not just one.
Tips
▸ Use nitro on jumps, not straights
Activating nitro mid-air off a ramp launches the bike further and triggers flip animations that don’t affect speed but confirm maximum airtime. On straights, nitro is useful but the track’s fuel pickups are spaced to reward riders who collect during the race — burning nitro between pickups leaves you empty at the next key moment. Save it for jump launches and final-stretch pushes.
▸ Kick when side-by-side at a track edge, not in open space
A kick in open track just nudges the opponent briefly. The same kick executed when they’re on the outer edge of a platform or narrow section sends them off the track entirely. Position yourself alongside the opponent near a drop, then kick — the physics push is only useful when there’s somewhere for them to fall.
▸ Respawn immediately after a bad landing — don’t wait
The game does not auto-reset. A flipped or stuck bike sits there until you press C (P1) or H (P2). Every second you wait is lost track position. Respawning quickly after a crash is faster than trying to recover the bike’s orientation manually — the respawn places you back on the track surface instantly.
▸ Collect fuel on every lap, not when empty
Fuel pickups on the track replenish your nitro gauge. Players who only collect them reactively — when the gauge is already empty — miss pickups that their opponent is collecting throughout the lap. Route through pickup positions as a habit every lap, keeping the gauge topped up rather than depleting and scrambling to refill.
▸ Finish first in earlier tracks before buying expensive bikes
Higher-tier bikes significantly outpace the starter vehicle, but they cost money that can only be earned by racing. Winning the first few tracks with the default bike is faster than grinding second-place finishes trying to save — the starter bike is capable of first place on early tracks, and that prize money accelerates your shop progression.
