Pizza Clicker Prestige Guide: Best Ruby Upgrades to Buy First

Prestiging in Pizza Clicker resets your current run but hands you Rubies, a permanent currency you spend on a 5-tier upgrade tree. The problem is that the tree has 62 upgrades and it’s easy to waste your first few hundred Rubies on something that barely moves the needle. This guide walks through every tier of the prestige tree and then narrows it down to exactly what to buy first if you’re new to prestiging.

How the Prestige Tree Works
Every upgrade below has a Ruby cost and, for most upgrades, a prerequisite you need to buy first before it unlocks. Tiers 1 and 2 are available from your very first prestige. Tier 3 unlocks once you’ve prestiged 50 times (one upgrade in that tier needs 75), Tier 4 unlocks at 200 prestiges (one exception needs 300), and Tier 5 is locked until you’ve prestiged 500 times.
Tier 1 Prestige Upgrades

Best Upgrades to Buy First
If you’re new to prestiging and staring at your first pile of Rubies, don’t spread them thin. Here’s the priority order that gets you the most value per Ruby early on, focused on upgrades that compound rather than one-off boosts.
- Lucky Recipe (1 Ruby) — the cheapest global PP/s boost in the game. Always buy this first.
- Golden Hand (1 Ruby) — cheap, immediate click power boost, useful if you still click manually early on.
- Cost Optimization (2 Rubies) — reduces building costs, which speeds up every purchase for the rest of the run.
- Eternal Kitchen (2 Rubies) — extends your offline income cap, so you keep earning while away from the game.
- Secret Ingredient (3 Rubies) — stacks on top of Lucky Recipe for more global PP/s.
- Genius Finger (3 Rubies) — doubles down on click power if you’re still an active clicker.
- Bulk Buying (5 Rubies) — the next tier of building cost reduction, once Cost Optimization is in.
- Efficient Empire (15 Rubies) — a strong flat +50% to global PP/s once you have some Rubies saved up.
- Master Loop (180 Rubies, Tier 3) — as soon as you hit 50 prestiges, prioritize this over almost anything else in Tier 3. It adds +1 Ruby to every future prestige, which pays for itself over time and makes every upgrade after it cheaper to reach.
The short version: in Tiers 1 and 2, prioritize global PP/s and building cost upgrades over click power unless you’re playing very actively, since idle production matters more than manual clicking once your economy scales up. Once you reach Tier 3, Master Loop should jump to the top of your list — it’s the one upgrade that makes every future prestige better, not just your current run.
Once you’ve got your Tier 1 and 2 foundation in place, head back to the main Pizza Clicker page and start stacking prestiges — every run after this gets faster.
